Mahindra two-wheeler sold out 70,000 units

India's one of the leading two-wheeler manufacturer, Mahindra 2wheeler has recorded sales of 70,000 units in the fiscal 2010. The company sales figures in the last month was 12,753 units. Mahindra's most selling scooter's are-Mahindra Duro, Mahindra Rodeo and Mahindra Flyte. Mahindra Duro and Mahindra Rodeo were launched together in India last year. Besides, Mahindra Flyte 125cc had already launched in India. Mahindra will overgrow its sales over 1 lakh mark per annum. Anoop Mathur, President, Mahindra 2 Wheelers and member of the Group Executive Board, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. said, After seven months, when we entered into the scooter segment, has achieved a great targets within this period of time. The company was promised to the Indian customer for delivered a products within the period and has been delivered at the same time. There has been an excellent response to the company's power scooter portfolio both from cities and towns with customers acknowledge the contemporary attractive features and style of all brands. The company two-wheelers are produced at a state of the art manufacturing facility at Pithamput near Indore. It has certified with ISO 9001 from DNV for products and process activity. Mahindra 2wheeler has also set it Research and Development unit at Pune and Chinchwad. These units are fully loaded with development and design facilities. Meanwhile, Yamaha Motor is ready to roll out its upcoming bikes such as Yamaha YZF R125, Yamaha YBR, Yamaha SZ by the end of 2010. Besides, TVS Wego will be available for sale at country's showrooms.
