MV Agusta at Auto Expo 2016

One of the most popular Italian motorcycle makers, MV Agusta entered the Indian market recently in October 2015. MV Agusta Superbikes have been brought in the country under a joint venture of the Italian manufacturer with Kinetic Engineering Limited that has been christened as “MotoRoyale” and it is bringing the motorcycles here via CBU route. Currently, the company is offering just two Motorcycles in the country and they are Brutale 1090 and F4. However, it is going to introduce another supersport product- F3 800 soon which is expected to be followed by the Brutale 800. To create a buzz regarding these two models the company has showcase these two new models along with the existing two at the Auto Expo 2016. So, here is a brief introduction of these upcoming motorcycles showcased at the event.
MV Agusta F3 800: One of the most advanced middleweight supersport motorcycles- MV Agusta F3 comes packed with a performance that can be compared even with some of the best litre-class machines. It is a result of the new 800cc engine that punches out 148bhp of maximum power and 88Nm of peak torque to power this light machine weighs just 173 kg. The F3 800 comes blessed with an advanced electronics package along with features like fully adjustable suspension set-up from Marzocchi, high-performance braking system by Brembo, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), 8-stage traction control and much more. The bike has been slated to be priced from Rs. 15.99 lac (ex-showroom, Pune) and it will be available in both Standard and RC trims.
MV Agusta Brutale 800: The naked sport-styled motorcycle, MV Agusta Brutale 800 is expected to be the most affordable offering of the company in India soon after its launch. Powering the motorcycle is a 798cc, liquid-cooled, inline triple-cylinder engine that gives it the best in class performance with power up to 125bhp and delivers a peak torque of 81Nm. Further, it has an advanced cassette style, six-speed, constant mesh gearbox with quick shift technology- MV EAS (Electronically Assisted Shift) that makes this bike even better than many other motorcycles in this respective segment. Other important features of the bike include MVICS (Motor & Vehicle Integrated Control System) technology, 8-level traction control, composite steel trellis and aluminium plate frame, single-sided swingarm with adjustable rear mono-shock, 43mm inverted telescopic front fork, dual front disc brakes with racing-type radial front calipers and much more.
