  • India might not get the SCS Rekluse version.
  • Has the raw, raunchy 798cc inline-three cylinder MV motor powering the bike.
  • Will come in the next three months.
  • Pricing likely to be around Rs 19 lakh, ex-showroom.

MV Agusta Turismo Veloce 800 India
Italians are known for their wild creations. MV Agusta is one of the wildest. Who wants a 200PS naked? In a similar vein, who wants a 110PS adventure tourer based on the Brutale? Apparently MV Agusta did find an audience couple of years back and now they hope to find one in India as well as their Turismo Veloce 800 is set to launch soon. Speaking to a couple of MotoRoyale, the umbrella through which Agusta bikes are sold in India, officials, we could see the adventure tourer on our shores within the next three months.

We have already tasted a small sample of how the 798cc triple engine behaves in the Brutale 800 -- brutal. The guys at MV thought that it was a perfect base for the Turismo Veloce as well. And what's more is that it gets an extra PS than the Brutale, the peak power figure standing at 110PS, made at a whopping 10,150rpm. And it has got all the bells and whistles to go along with it. Ride-by-wire, rider modes, switchable lean-sensing traction control, slipper clutch and a bi-directional quickshifter is all here.

MV Agusta Turismo Veloce 800 IndiaThis is surely coming down the CBU route with it going on sale at an obnoxiously high price tag. Our guess would be around Rs 19 lakh, ex-showroom. Compared to the Ducati Multistrada 950, which is a similarly mad adventure tourer, it is still going to be nearly Rs 7 lakh more expensive.
