New Bajaj Discover 100M launch on 15th October?

Bajaj Auto has sent us an official invitation to to attend an event held for the unveiling of an all new platform for the popular Discover series of the company. Earlier, the event planned for yesterday ie October 11, but due to some unknown reasons, it has been postponed to the 15th of this month.
However, images of the new Discover have been leaked and the new bike has been named Discover 100M. Platform of the bike is similar to the recently launched Discover 100T of the company, though there are some styling changes.
This time, the chrome finish from the side panel and end of the tail pipe has been removed. The 100M has also received older Discover 100's seat and handle bar. The bike will use the same 102cc, 4-stroke, single-cylinder, liquid cooled, 4-valve engine, powering the 100T. The company claims this to be the most powerful 100cc with a power output of 10.2PS at 9,000rpm, which is 30 per cent more than any other bike in the respective segment.
A couple of months ago, Bajaj announced to add six new discover variants and two new pulsar variants to its range. In the previous 5 months, company has launched 3 new discover variants named Discover 125ST, 100T and 125T. The Discover is a successful commuter series of the company, and the Discover M series will be the fourth generation of the series. Considering the changes that the new Discover 100M has gone throug, it should be priced between the Discover 100 and 100T.
