New Bajaj Discover to be added in the family

Bajaj Auto is planning aggressively to increase it's popular bikes portfolio in India. The company has confirmed the launch of a New Bajaj Discover along with Bajaj Boxer 150cc. Currently, Bajaj have two variants in the Discover range: Bajaj Discover 100cc and Bajaj Discover 150cc.

As per an interview given to a leading channel, Mr Rajiv Bajaj, MD Bajaj Auto, has quoted as saying that Bajaj Pulsar and Bajaj Discover is contributing 70 per cent motorcycle sales of the company. At the domestic front, it is 85 per cent of the total sales in India. The company is mulling over to expand its dealership by adding 130 more dealers in the country.
Aprat from that Bajaj Auto is said to launch a new Bajaj Boxer that will be 150cc bike. This new Boxer will be launched in April this year. The company hopes to touch 300000 bikes sales mark in March and 350,000 in April, 2011. Noted that Hero Honda has launched a re-freshed Hero Honda Karizma R in India.
