New Hero Splendor iSmart 110 Reaches Dealerships Prior To Launch

Unveiled at the 2016 Auto Expo in February this year, the Hero Splendor iSmart 110 has started reaching dealerships prior to its launch.
The world's largest two-wheeler manufacturer, Hero MotoCorp unveiled its upcoming commuter motorcycle -- the Splendor iSmart 110 -- at the 2016 Auto Expo in February, 2016. The bike was expected to be launched in the middle of this year, and so it seems that the company is going to make the official launch announcement soon. However, the bike has already started reaching some Hero MotoCorp dealerships ahead of its launch.
The new Splendor iSmart 110 is the first fully in-house developed motorcycle by Hero Motocorp and also gets the patented i3S technology. The bike sports a slightly bigger engine as compared to the existing Splendor iSmart model and it will help the company to further expand its largest range in the commuter segment.
The 110cc, single cylinder, air-cooled motor of the Splendor iSmart is capable of making 9.1PS of maximum power at 7,500rpm and delivering a peak torque of 9Nm at 5,500rpm. The engine is mated to a 4-speed transmission and equipped with the revolutionary i3S technology to provide best in class mileage figures.
The Hero Splendor iSmart 110 also gets a completely new styling that features a flowing pattern. The bike will get features like alloy wheels, drum brakes, telescopic front forks, dual hydraulic shocks at rear and more. Looking at the price of the 100cc Splendor iSmart, the 110cc model can be expected to be priced around Rs 53,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
