The company will also showcase an upgraded Kratos R
Tork Motors, one of the few bikemakers participating at Auto Expo 2023, is gearing up to unveil a brand new electric bike at the upcoming motor show, alongside an updated version of its existing Kratos R model. In our recent conversation with Tork Motors’ founder and CEO, Kapil Shelke, we got to understand that the new e-bike will be a more premium version of the Kratos, which will pack more features and will also be more powerful - something closer to the original T6X that the company had unveiled some years ago. That said, he let us know that the battery pack would remain unchanged. So we guess there might be a slight reduction in range. But for all we know, the engineers at Tork might have managed to increase the efficiency of the powertrain so that the range remains unaffected.
He also mentioned that the current Kratos R’s update will come with some added features such as a fast charging port coming as standard. There will also be a few visual updates, such as a black finish for the battery pack, among others, giving the Kratos a more premium look.

With a recent chunky price hike, the Kratos and Kratos R now cost Rs 1,32,499 and Rs 1,47,499 respectively (both ex-showroom post FAME-2 and Maharashtra state subsidies). Expect a small price bump for the updated Kratos R, while the new e-bike will definitely be more expensive.
