Going by the teaser images, we suspect it could be the new Jupiter 125
TVS has teased its upcoming 125cc two-wheeler over media invites, and the official launch is tomorrow. The video shows indicators integrated with LED DRLs, the former resembling the current Jupiter. So, we reckon the new offering will be the Jupiter 125.
It will likely be powered by a three-valve 124.8cc single-cylinder fuel-injected engine, the same as the NTorq 125. In the NTorq 125’s standard variant, the motor dishes out 9.38PS and 10.5Nm. However, the Jupiter is more efficiency-oriented, so the tune could be a bit different.

If it’s the Jupiter 125, expect it to retain its underpinnings. Currently, the 110cc model is sprung on a telescopic fork and a three-step rear shock, and it rides on 12-inch wheels. Braking hardware includes a 220mm front disc (offered as an option) and a 130mm drum at the rear.
The Suzuki Access 125 is one of the most popular scooters in its segment, and the TVS offering will be its arch-rival. So, Bluetooth connectivity may also be on offer. Apart from that, the scooter might also get an LED headlight, start/stop function, and a USB charging point.
The upcoming TVS’ asking price may be anywhere between Rs 70,000 - Rs 75,000 (ex-showroom). Apart from the Access 125 aside, it will also have the Honda Activa 125, Hero Destini 125, and Yamaha Fascino 125 Fi in its crosshairs.
