Yamaha Indonesia has launched a new variant of the NMax 155 scooter, called Connected. The new variant sits between the standard and the top-of-the-line Connected ABS variant and is priced at IDR 31 Million which roughly translates to Rs. 1.62 lakh. This news comes days after the brand launched the 2021 Aerox 155.
The NMax 155 Connected variant gets almost all the bells and whistles of the top model like the keyless ignition and locking system and Bluetooth connectivity but misses out on traction control and ABS, just like the standard variant.
The scooter continues to draw power from the R15 V3-derived 155cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine with variable valve actuation (VVA) and produces 15.36PS and 13.9Nm. Dropping the anchor are disc brakes at both ends fixed to 13-inch rims. Telescopic forks at the front and preload adjustable dual shock absorbers handle the suspension duties.
We have been waiting for NMax 155 for quite a while now and though luck may not have been on our side till now, we hope things change for the better in 2021. If not, the Aprilia SXR 160 should satiate your need for a maxi-scooter.
