New Yamaha VMax, Yamaha R1 next year

India's one of the leading two-wheeler maker, India Yamaha Motors has announced the new Yamaha VMax and 2011 Yamaha R1, which are coming to India by next April. These proposed massive motorcycles will become a part of the Indian line-up for year 2010. The company has recently disclosed images of the bike more for the bike lovers.  According to some news sources, both 2011 models has not taken any major cosmetic changes. Yamaha Motor has not yet officially informed  about the powertrains of this high-end capacity bikes.


Yamaha VMax

The existing  model of Yamaha VMax, which had been launched previous year in the country with the hefty price tag of Rs.2,000,000. It comes loaded with 4-stroke, DOHC, 4-valve, V-type 4-cylinder engine . The power plant of VMax  produces awesome power output of 147.2 kW (200 PS) at 9,000 rpm while generates peak torque of 166.8 Nm (17.0 kg-m) at 6,500 rpm with its 1679cc displacement. The new 2011 version of Yamaha VMax will be more costlier than the existing model in India. The new Yamaha VMax will be available in a raven black paint job and some chrome bits in the Indian auto market.


Yamaha R1

The high-end capacity massive motorcycle, Yamaha YZF R1 has already been released in the Indian two-wheeler market with heavy engine capacity, which is powered by Liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, forward inclined parallel 4-cylinder, 4-valve, DOHC.  The heart of this Yamaha R1 is delivering top power of 132.4 kW (180 PS) at 12,500 rpm and produces maximum torque of 112.7 Nm (11.5 kg-m) at 10,000 rpm. The new 2011 Yamaha R1 might get new body graphics, red wine paint and new headlamp cluster to make it more stunning motorcycle in the auto market. These models are likely to be extremely powerful and lighting quick. Meanwhile, Yamaha Motor has introduced three new premium bikes including Yamaha SZ & SZ-X, Yamaha YBR 125 and Yamaha SS 125 in the auto market.
