Official: Bajaj Pulsar 150, 180 and 220 launched with two tone colours

We have already reported you that the Bajaj Auto is about to introduce new colour schemes for Pulsar 150, 180 and 220 DTS-i. Today, the company has launched these Pulsars with an exciting range of two-tone colours without any additional cost. The new range will now provide Pulsar enthusiasts choice of three striking colours including Pearl Metallic White, Sapphire Blue and Cocktail Wine Red.
Commenting on the launch of new range of Pulsars with two-tone colors, Mr. Sumeet Narang, VP (Marketing), Bajaj Auto said: "The Pulsar is India's No1 Sports bike for more than a decade now. We had earlier introduced vibrant two-tones in the Pulsar 200NS and received an overwhelming response from our customers and hence we have now extended the concept on the entire range of Pulsars. We are confident that the new avatars of Pulsar will appeal to the new age biker, who is seeking a bike that not only offers great technology, but also unparalleled aesthetics."
Right from its inception, Bajaj Pulsar range has been the most successful clan of the sport bikes in India, especially in the 150cc category. The success of Pulsar range is an acknowledgement of Bajaj Auto’s commitment to unparalleled design and development. The company has also introduced a more efficient and powerful version of the bike as Pulsar 200NS, which is already available in dual tone paint schemes.
Bajaj Pulsar 150 and 180 looks identical in design, however it gets lots of minor changes and different power mills. Pulsar 180 gets fatter front forks, bigger disc brake and wider rear tyre than the Pulsar 150. It also gets sporty split pattern seat, which doesn't comes with the 150cc model. Thanks to its semi fairing, Pulsar 220 looks much different from its younger siblings.
Pulsar 150 sports a 149cc DTS-i engine, which is capable of churning out 15bhp of maximum power along with a peak torque of 12.5Nm. Sporting a 178.6cc DTS-i engine, Pulsar 180 delivers 17bhp of maximum power and 14.22Nm of extreme torque. Pulsar 220 belts out an extreme power of 21bhp and a top torque of 19.12Nm.
