The all-new Royal Enfield Meteor 350 is expected to launch later this month. Recently, a leaked brochure pointed to the upcoming cruiser’s colours and variants. Now, scale model variants of the Meteor 350 have been leaked indicating that Royal Enfield could launch Meteor merchandise and accessories along with the motorcycle.
The scale models will be available in different Meteor variants: Fireball, Stellar and Supernova. The red and yellow ones are the Fireball Red and Fireball Yellow while the black and maroon ones are the Stellar Black and Stellar Red variants.
The Meteor 350 is based on Royal Enfield’s J-platform. While its styling is similar to the Thunderbird 350X it replaces, the Meteor comes with a comprehensive semi-digital instrument console. It gets an all-new motor that is expected to be more refined than the Thunderbird’s 346cc UCE motor. It could also offer more power than the previous bike’s 19.3PS and 28Nm. Considering the motorcycle’s touring focus, Royal Enfield could plonk a six-speed gearbox for relaxed touring.
The Meteor is expected to be launched later this month. It could be priced in the region of Rs 1.60 lakh to Rs 1.80 lakh (ex-showroom) and will compete with the Bajaj Dominar 250 and the Jawa Forty Two.
