Okhi-90 doesn't cut it for you? Here are a few same priced alternatives
Okinawa Autotech has finally launched its flagship electric scooter, the Okhi-90. The e-scooter is positioned to take on the premium electric scooters in the market and is priced at Rs 1,21,866 ex-showroom, pan-India including Fame II subsidies. With the respective state subsidies the price of the e-scooter reduces even further, for instance, in Delhi, it retails at Rs 1,03,866 post Fame II and state subsidies.
The Okhi90 packs a bunch of features and has impressive claimed numbers, but if you are still not sold, here are the electric and ICE alternatives you can opt for at the same price.
Ather 450 Plus
Starting the list off is Ather Energy’s 450 Plus, another electric scooter from one of the top EV two wheeler brands in India. The 450 Plus is priced at Rs 1,18,996 ex-showroom Delhi including Fame II subsidy. It misses out on Bluetooth connectivity, music control and Warp ride mode as compared to its older sibling 450X, however, it still is a performer and gives a true range of 70km with a top speed of 80kmph.
TVS Apache RTR 160 4V
Packed with features, an incredible performance and an attractive design, the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V does the job of an everyday commuter all the while being sporty. It features a fully digital instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation. It retails at Rs 1,17,278 ex-showroom Delhi.
Hero XPulse 200
If you were looking for something exciting, the Hero Xpulse 200 is the perfect option at the same price as the Okhi-90, for taking on an adventure. Retailing at Rs 1,23,150, the XPulse 200 is a practical bike, excellent for commuting and offroad riding thanks to long travel suspension, high ground clearance, 21-inch and 18-inch spoke wheels with dual-purpose tyres. At 157kg kerb weight, it's light and agile enough for everyday commutes as well.
Bajaj Pulsar 180
If a performer is what you are looking for, then look no more. The Bajaj Pulsar 180 is priced at Rs 1,16,653 ex-showroom Delhi and locks horns with the Apache RTR 160 4V. The Pulsar 180, too, fuses everyday commuting with a good balance of comfort and a sporty performance. It is also the longest standing Pulsars and its iconic design has stayed the same over the years.
Tork Kratos R
If you are not willing to compromise on going green, then you can also check out the Tork Kratos R, priced at Rs 1,17,499 ex-showroom Delhi, inclusive of FAME-II subsidy. The Kratos R boasts a claimed real world range of 120km and a top speed of 105kmph. It is easily the sportiest electric bike, with really good ergonomics and is the perfect equivalent to a 150cc ICE motorcycle.
