Paris Motor Show witnesses the all new Yamaha FJR1300

The new Yamaha FJR1300 was one of the major highlights in this year’s Salon de la Moto, held in Paris from 1st to 6th December. The 2016 model of FJR will be offered with LED running lights and a twin eye optical signature. The FJR1300 will be getting a six-speed transmission and a lighter clutch for better progress, faster acceleration and smoother commuting.

Yamaha FJR1300 is one of the company’s most popular model. To keep the machine identical, FJR1300 won’t get any major changes except few feature updates. Keeping safety in mind, the company will be rolling out this bike with Dainese D-Air motorcycle airbag compatibility. Dainese manufacturer will be fitting the safety kit at the time of production and once installed, the bike will communicate with the D-air street system airbag jacket wirelessly.

About 1,80,000 people visited the event, which includes 400 exhibitors of almost every motorcycling brand present globally. Apart from Yamaha FJR1300, BMW’s R nineT Scrambler and Honda Africa Twin were also spotted at the event.
