In February, Piaggio is going to launch another delightful scooter, Vespa 125 Sport. This scooter will be an elder sibling of the current line-up model, Vespa VX 125. This scooter will be costlier than the VX125 and will be a premium scooter.
This time, the company has given this scooter a whole new styling as the ordinary circular headlight and rear view mirrors have been replaced with the quadrilateral ones. The taillight in the new two-wheeler is also placed a few inches above the normal level. A whole new instrument panel has been designed for this new runner which will display speedometer, fuel gauge, clock, odometer and few other indicators. The glovebox capacity of the scooter has now been increased for more comfort.
The manufacturer has painted Vespa 125 Sport in two shades, one is Orange and the other is matte-finished black. The red colored front suspension coil is equipped to the scooter which makes it look more sporty and colorful. The stylish three-spoke alloy wheels are brought forward from its younger siblings but the difference which we have spotted is the presence of black powder-coating. The front wheel of this machine will be equipped with front disc brake which will be a standard feature for this model.
Just like Vespa VX 125, this scooter also houses the 125 cc, 3-Valve, Aluminum Cylinder Head, Overhead Cam engine which is mated with the CVT transmission. This engine is tuned to produce 10.06Ps of maximum power at 7500rpm and the top torque of 10.6Nm at 6000rpm. We are expecting this sporty scooter on the stalls of Piaggio during the Auto Expo 2014. Stay tuned for more updates.
