Auto Expo is considered at the best platform for international Auto manufacturing companies to unveil their upcoming products amongst their contenders. The ongoing 2012 Auto Expo carries ahead the same tradition. Various Auto manufacturing companies of International repute have forayed their latest and upcoming vehicles. Following the same tradition, legendary company Victory from United States landed its first infant, Victory Vision on Indian land. Features adorned in Vision include 1740cc Vee-Twin engine, churning power of 93 PS and torque of 148 Nm.
Victory is generally known for manufacturing touring, classic and powerful bikes. Polaris Industries, which is the mother industry of Victory has already marked its presence in India with Polaris ATVs. The objective of launching Victory bikes in Indian market is reply to its major competitor company Harley Davidson which has already debuted in Indian two wheeler market in the year 2010. This year Auto Expo showcased price reduction of Harley Davidson Dyna bikes. The entrance of Victory bikes from Polaris Industries marks the presence of second American company in Indian bike market.
Victory has not revealed any information about pricing and specifications of the bike it has unveiled during 2012 Auto Expo. According to speculations, after analyzing opportunities of exploring its operation in India, company may announce its future strategy about Indian two wheeler market. According to reports at present company will be importing bike directly from America. However, it is also possible that learning from experience of Harley Davidson company, Victory may also set up its assembling plant in India to minimize the cost of vehicle.
Besides Vision bike, other bike from Victory is Hammer, which adorns 100 c V-twin engine, followed by electronic fuel injection system with 44mm throttle components, oil and air cooling features supported by six speed gearbox merged with belt final drive. The most impressive feature about Victory Hammer bike that makes riding a comfort experience is its V shaped handle bar that not only results in comfort riding but also develops the feeling of riding on a metallic horse to the rider.
