The streets of India Gate, in New Delhi, have witnessed some incredible sights over the years. After rocking Sri Lanka and Pakistan, this June, we’ll see the picturesque landscape of India Gate brim with energy, sound and action, courtesy one of the world’s most exciting motocross events Red Bull X-Fighters Jams. Delhiites will witness the world’s best Freestyle motocross riders, Nick Franklin, Nick De Wit, Gilles Dejong, Martin Koren and Jimmy Verburgh set ablaze the skies of New Delhi on 30th June, 2012 at the India Gate lawns.
Red Bull X-Fighters Jams is a series of worldwide exhibitions which travels across the globe giving fans a taste of the World Tour. The Red Bull X-Fighters World Tour and its allied events have grown to become the biggest and most respected freestyle motocross events on the planet. The debut Indian leg of Red Bull X- Fighters Jams will have some of the world’s most daring motocross riders pull backflips, stand ups and some insanity we haven’t seen yet. The crowds will get a chance to watch the incredibly talented South African FMX champion Nick de Wit nicknamed ‘Sick’, who has dominated the South African freestyle MotoX scene for the last few years and is currently ranked 5th in the world.
Taking him head-on would be Nick Franklin, a leading athlete from New Zealand who excels at the MotoX. He has been an innovator and has the reputation of being a solid rider who keeps adding new tricks to his repertoire. 30th June, will bring all these athletes face to face at the India Gate to perform some jaw-dropping tricks with only one amongst them being declared the winner.
