Customers have to pay extra for RTO charges, insurance and so on
- Both electric motorcycles are priced under Rs 1 lakh.
- Revolt covers RTO charges, insurance and 4G connectivity in the subscription method.
- Revolt has opened its first showroom outside of Delhi-NCR in Pune.
When Revolt launched its all-electric motorcycles, the RV300 and the RV400, it made sure that its products offer several industry-first features. However, what grabbed everyone’s attention was its pricing strategy - a monthly subscription-based payment system for both motorcycles. Along with this unique payment option, the company has now announced that interested customers can buy the e-motorcycle based on their ex-showroom price as well. While the RV300 is priced at Rs 84,999, the RV400 retails at Rs 98,999 (including FAME-II subsidy).
While Revolt takes care of the registration/RTO charges, insurance and 4G connectivity for your bike for three years under the subscription plan, you have to pay extra if you are buying the motorcycles via the conventional method. But what’s the difference in the ownership experience between the Revolt electric motorcycles and, say, buying a 125cc motorcycle? Don’t worry, we have crunched all the numbers for you and here’s how it’s different.
Currently, the bike maker is planning to increase its dealer network as well. The company has opened two dealerships in Pune called Revolt Hubs where customers can check out and buy the electric motorcycles. However, if you want to know how India’s first all-electric bike fared in our hands, then here’s our first-ride review.
Here’s the official press release from the company:
