Seems like Hunter 450 And Roadster 450 may not be the actual names
[UPDATE: Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 has been launched in India at Rs 2,39,000 (ex-showroom)]
Royal Enfield has trademarked the ‘Guerrilla 450’ name and the logo of the same has also surfaced online. Earlier we thought the Royal Enfield 450 Roadster would be called the Hunter 450, but now we know that it will be called the Guerrilla 450.
We have seen many spy shots of the bike surface online in the past and they have given us a good idea of what we can expect from this upcoming Royal Enfield bike. It will be powered by the same 452cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine as the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450. The engine is Royal Enfield’s first liquid-cooled motor and it produces 40PS and 40Nm.
The bike features a suspension setup that comprises a telescopic fork and monoshock. It rolls on 17-inch alloys at both ends with tubeless tyres.
In terms of features, we expect the bike to come with the same instrument console as the Himalayan 450, which is a round 5-inch TFT unit that offers full fledged navigation via google maps.
The bike is expected to come at an ex-showroom price of Rs 2.6 lakh and will likely be launched by mid-2024. After launch, the bike will go up against other motorcycles in the 400cc segment such as the Triumph Speed 400, KTM 390 Duke, Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 and Hero Mavrick 440.
