Quick News Highlights:
- Upcoming Guerrilla 450 was spied at a Royal Enfield service centre.
- Is probably brought for training the mechanics for service and maintenance.
- Expected to be priced somewhere between Rs 2.20 lakh and Rs 2.30 lakh (ex-showroom).
The upcoming Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 has been spied yet again, ahead of its launch on July 17. This time the bike was spotted at a Royal Enfield Service centre and is probably being used to train mechanics for the service and maintenance of the bike.
Royal Enfield has also released a new teaser on its Instagram, in which the rider is doing a burn-out on the Guerrilla 450. The bike appears to feature a white and blue colour scheme. However, we can’t be sure as the colours aren’t properly visible because of the smoke and lighting. Moreover, Royal Enfield has made clever references to the bike and the brand on the number plate. The numberplate features ‘GRR 1901’, where GRR is the Guerrilla 450’s codename and 1901 is when the brand’s first bike was launched.
About The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450
The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 will be powered with the same 452cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder Sherpa engine from the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450. The engine produces a peak output of 40PS and 40Nm on the ADV but is likely to be tuned differently on the roadster, to match its nature and characteristics.
The 450cc roadster gets a round LED headlight and indicators. It has a sculpted fuel tank that looks similar to the one on the Hunter 350. The slim tail section, sleek tail light and indicators, however, look similar to the Himalayan 450.
The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 could be available in two variants. One will be a lower-priced variant with a single-tone colour and a semi-digital instrument console from the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650, with the tripper navigation pod available as an optional accessory The other variant will be more premium with a dual-tone colour scheme and gets the same circular TFT instrument console from the Himalayan 450. It also gets smartphone connectivity and full-fledged Google Maps navigation. The bike gets the switchgear from the Himalayan 450 as well
The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 is expected to be priced somewhere between Rs 2.20 lakh and Rs 2.30 lakh (ex-showroom), and here’s why we think it will be priced cheaper than the Triumph Speed 400. The Guerrilla 450 will go up against other 400-500cc bikes including, Husqvarna Svartpilen 401, Hero Mavrick 440, Harley-Davidson X440, and QJ Motor SRC 500.
