The spied model looks very close to the production-ready bike
One of the most hotly anticipated motorcycles of this year, the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, has been spied again. This time, it looks like the motorcycle is in the final testing stage before its launch.
We already have a pretty good idea about the details spotted in these spy shots. The design language is very similar to the Himalayan 411 on sale right now but beefier and more muscular, as spotted before. Like before, This test mule was also spotted with side panniers and a luggage top box, as seen on previous occasions as well and are likely to be part of the accessories range for the upcoming motorcycle.
We can also see that the Himalayan 450 gets spoked wheels and these aren’t expected to be fitted with tubeless tyres. We also know that the ADV will get a retro-modern TFT console with an analogue-style tachometer and is expected to display a digital speedometer, tripmeter, odometer, and a gear position indicator. It will also get a rotary-style switchgear like other motorcycles in the manufacturer’s lineup.
The upcoming ADV from Royal Enfield will be powered by an all-new liquid-cooled, 450cc engine and its power and torque figures are expected to be similar to that of the KTM 390 Adventure (43.5PS and 37Nm). The Himalayan 450 was earlier expected to be launched by September 2023. But, with Royal Enfield teasing that the new Bullet 350 might be launched during that period, we expect this 450ccc ADV from Royal Enfield to be launched by the end of this year.
