What differentiates the three variants and how much does each one cost?
The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 has been launched starting at Rs 1.75 lakh, but the top-end Supernova variant will set you back by over Rs 1.90 lakh. With a total of three variants on offer, it can be a little confusing, but fret not, because we're here to break them down for you.
Fireball
Despite the exciting name, this is the most basic variant of the lot, and thanks to its basic equipment levels, it bears the closest resemblance to the erstwhile Thunderbird X 350. Points worth noting here are that the alloys are a plain black design, the tank logo is a sticker, the exhaust is blacked out, and there is no backrest. It is priced at Rs 1,75,817 (ex-showroom Chennai).
Stellar
The mid-range variant is called Stellar, and it gets a chrome-finished exhaust system, a rear backrest and 3D tank logos. However, it still has to make do with the all-black alloy wheels, and it costs Rs 1,81,326 (ex-showroom Chennai).
Supernova
The range-topping Supernova variant looks like a pukka tourer straight from the showroom, not least thanks to its large front screen. In addition to this, it also gets smart-looking diamond-cut alloy wheels, dual-tone paint schemes, and contrasting seats. All this extra hardware comes at a cost, and the Supernova is priced at Rs 1,90,536.
Of course, in addition to these three basic variants, you also have loads of customisation and personalisation options that you can explore using RE's new app. Read all about it here.
