2024 Royal Enfield Classic 350 new details like variants, features & expected price revealed
The Royal Enfield Scrambler 650 has been in speculation for quite some time now and this spy shot tells us that it might be production-ready. Here are all the details of the bike:
At first glance, the bike gets a proper scrambler stance: tall and bold. The black and red colour combination on the panels and the tank can be seen creeping through the cover hinting towards a bunch of colours the bike could be offered in. It gets a slim tear-drop-style fuel tank, braced handlebar, quilted seat and minimal panels with a race number plate to add to its scrambler character.
The Royal Enfield Scrambler 650 stands on a tall suspension setup: an inverted fork on the front and rear dual shock absorbers. It seems to have 19-inch front and 17-inch rear spoked wheels, wrapped with knobby dual-sport tyres which means the bike will be able to tackle mild off-road trails. The upswept exhaust looks quite interesting with a two-in-one system, unlike the other currently available Royal Enfield 650cc bikes that get dual exhausts. The bike has disc brakes on the front and rear along with dual-channel ABS, being a scrambler Royal Enfield might give it switchable ABS for mild off-road riding.
While the stance and styling are fresh, it will likely be powered by the same 648cc air-/oil-cooled parallel-twin engine as seen on the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650, producing 47PS and 52Nm. The bike will likely be launched in two variants and multiple colour options similar to the recently launched Guerrilla 450. The top variant might get the TFT instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity and Google Maps navigation borrowed from its ADV cousin the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450. The Base variant could get the semi-digital instrument cluster like the one on the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650.
The Scrambler 650 looks production-ready and is expected to be launched at Motoverse 2024 held in November. It will likely be priced somewhere between Rs 3.4 lakh - Rs 3.5 lakh (ex-showroom).
2024 Royal Enfield Classic 350 new details revealed
As per sources, Royal Enfield will introduce the 2024 Royal Enfield Classic 350 in five variants: Heritage, Heritage Premium, Signals, Dark, and Classic Chrome. A major update in the bike will be the LED lights for the pilot lamps, headlight and tail light. To keep the price affordable the base variant of the bike will get an updated rear drum brake. The top variants will sport LED turn indicators and adjustable levers as standard along with the other updates. These will be offered as accessories for the lower variants. All variants will also get a USB charger as standard.
The 2024 Classic 350 will mostly continue to be powered by the 349cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder J-series engine that produces a peak output of 20.21PS at 6100rpm and 27Nm at 4000rpm, which seems to be a success for the company.
“Will the price be hiked?" you ask. Currently the price of the Royal Enfield Classic 350 ranges from Rs 1,93,080 and goes up to Rs Rs 2,24,755(ex-showroom). We think Royal Enfield will continue with the same price range. However, we can expect a price hike of Rs 3,000 - Rs 4,000 soon.
