One of the most brutal motorcycle manufacturers- Confederate has revealed the second generation of the P51 Combat Fighter. It is one of the most distinctively designed motorcycles like a raw custom machine, which is totally hand-crafted and its G2 edition will be limited to only 61 units. It was the last project of Mr. Pierre Terblanche at Confederate before joining Royal Enfield. According to the company, the bike is inspired by the 1960's rebel, anti-hero and the stripped, raw, chopper he rode.
Powering the G2 P51 Combat Fighter is a 2,163cc, air/oil cooled, big block 56° V-twin engine built with 100% CNC machined aerospace grade 6061-T6 billet aluminum. The motor makes more than 200bhp of maximum power and delivers a massive peak torque of up to 230.5Nm. It comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox using a drag race approved clutch assembly.
The new Confederate P51 has a 19? x 3.5? 5-spoke carbon fiber wheel at the front and a 17? x 8.5? solid disc carbon fiber wheel at the rear. It comes with standard Pirelli tyres of 120/70-ZR19 section at the front and 240/45-ZR17 section at the rear.
It features a custom inspired suspension set-up including double wishbone girder link W type system at the front with coilover, integrated reservoir and multi-adjustable high & low speed compression & rebound dampening. The rear suspension is a multi-Link coilover type W with remote reservoir and multi-adjustable high & low-speed compression & rebound dampening.
The P51 Fighter will be available in just two colour options- Silver Finish and Devilish Matte Black Finish for Rs. 75.9 lacs and Rs. 79.6 lacs respectively.
