Suzuki brings 4 new products at the Auto Expo

The Japanese auto major, Suzuki displayed 4 new products including Gixxer, Let's, Inazuma and V-storm 1000 at the Indian Auto Expo 2014. Inazuma has already been launched, while Gixxer and Let's has been already unveiled and V-Strom has made its debut in India. The company also showcased its other products which are available in the Indian market including some high performance bikes- Hayabusa and Intruder. The company has also introduced a new Suzuki Eco Performance (SEP) technology with some of its new products, which helps to improve the performance of the engine.

Suzuki V-Strom is a high performance touring machine with a 1037cc, 4-stroke, liquid cooled, DOHC 90 degree V-twin mated with 6-speed transmission. The bike gets inverted telescopic forks at the front and link-type, coil spring single shock with aluminum swing-arm at the rear. Both the dual disc front and single rear disk brakes are assisted by brakes at the front and a single disc brake at the rear.

Suzuki Let's scooter gets a light-sport designing with aerodynamic front apron having stylish integrated turn indicators. Headlamp is provided on the handlebar, which also gets the instrument console. The scooter Let’s is an offering directed at the urban youth looking for styling, economy and practicality. Powered by a light, compact, fuel efficient 110cc engine, which churns out best in class power of 8.7bhp. With cutting edge technology- SEP, it returns a class leading mileage of 63 Kmpl. It has the stylish looks for riders seeking fun from a two-wheeler, while also giving a healthy dose of practicality like the cut away floorboards for easy handling, the versatility and convenience from the twist and go engine makes it a stylish scooter for work or pleasure. The company has also dedicated a tag line to it- Let’s Karte hain! Suzuki Let’s will be available in 5 interesting colours – Pearl Mira Red, Metallic Triton Blue, Pearl Mirage White, Glass Sparkle Black & Metallic Sonic Silver.

Suzuki Gixxer has an aggressive appearance with a masculine fuel tank, sharp head lamp and minimised body panels on its light chassis. It sports a 155cc, 4-stroke, air-cooled, single cylinder engine equipped with Suzuki Eco Performance (SEP) technology, which churns out a maximum power of 15.2bhp at 8,000rpm and 14Nm of peak torque at 7,000rpm. SEP is a revolutionary new cutting edge technology, which is achieved by reducing all kinds of mechanical losses, efficient design of every component and attention to detail in our manufacturing process. This has allowed us to achieve the best of both worlds – economy and performance. The chassis and engine has been developed by the designers of legendary GSX-R series.

Gixxer gets some amazing style elements which gels with each other to make it special for you. Its dual stage seat looks great with the elegant rear cowls and stylish grab rail. Short dual type exhaust is looking sportier with chrome garnishing and unique 6-spoke alloys enhanced that sportiness in it. The bike boast telescopic forks at the front, while the rear gets a single-shock suspension with aluminium swing-arm. It features disc brakes at the front and drum at the rear, which is sufficient to control a 150cc bike.

Suzuki Inazuma is the latest offering from the company, which sports a naked street styling. The bike boasts a 250cc, liquid cooled parallel twin with 6-speed transmission. Featuring disc brakes on both the rear and the front wheels, the bike has been priced at Rs. 3.10 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

All the bikes are looking amazing and Suzuki has covered a range between 110cc to 1000cc with its new range of products, which will be available soon in the market.
