The ongoing Tokyo Motor Show has witnessed the unveiling of 2016 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R. The upgrade is made to make the model more Euro4 compliant. Its ECU and evaporate exhaust has been reworked to lower down the emissions.
In a European market, the bike is offered with the name ZZR1400 and the 2016 model will be available in two variants namely ZZR1400 and the ZZR1400 Performance Sports. The former variant is a standard version, while the latter has new Brembo M50 monobloc brake calipers with Brembo radial-pump master cylinder and stainless steel brake lines, Ohlins TTX39 rear shock absorber, and Akrapovic exhaust.

The 2016 standard version has an improved instrument cluster with dotted background LCDs and the white/black interchangeable display. Though the changes have been made to lower down emission, the company claims that the performance of 2016 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R is unaffected. The bike houses 1411cc liquid-cooled inline four cylinder engine, which produces the maximum power of 200PS. It has the ability to accelerate from 0-100 kms in under 2.6 seconds and can attain the top speed of 299 kmph.
