Hero Splendor makes a mockery of the competition by selling nearly twice the second on the list
The commuter motorcycle segment draws in some of the highest sales in the country, remaining eternal favourites of the Indian audience. So now that SIAM (Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers) has released its data for the month of September 2022, let’s check out which bikes ruled the sales charts:

The Hero Splendor has yet again, thrashed the competition and registered a Month-on-Month (MoM) growth of 1.2 percent in September. The Honda Shine’s solid 21 percent MoM growth helped it clinch the second place, while the Hero HF Deluxe saw a very healthy 29.6 percent growth in sales, and occupied the middle spot.

The Bajaj Platina 100 and Platina 110 combined to occupy the fourth place on the list. However, they also saw a substantial 26.6 percent drop in sales. The last spot, too, was occupied by two Bajaj bikes, the Pulsar 125 and the NS 125, which saw a nine percent increase in sales. With the recently-launched Bajaj CT125X, the brand would be looking to strengthen its grip in the 125cc segment even more.
The Hero Glamour also gets a special mention, as the bike managed to sell an impressive 38,266 units in the month of September, registering an even more impressive 39 percent increase in sales.
