Bajaj Platina 100 Price: Rs 67,808
The 5th on our list is the Bajaj Platina 100, the cheapest Bajaj bike in India. It is powered by a 102cc, air-cooled single-cylinder engine which produces 7.9PS and 8.3Nm. The claimed top speed is 90kmph, and it uses an electronic carburettor instead of a fuel-injection system to keep the costs in check.
With the Bajaj Platina 100, the Pune-based bikemaker has given more priority to comfort as it comes with a well-cushioned seat, spring-in-spring rear suspension, and a wide foot pad for the pillion. Honda Shine 100 Price: Rs 64,900
The Honda Shine 100 is the iconic Honda Shine 125’s smaller capacity sibling and comes with a similar styling and design. Honda has also given it the iconic Honda chrome badging on the fuel tank. It is also the cheapest Honda bike in India, and at 99kg kerb, is the lightest bike in India.
The Shine 100 is powered by a 98.98cc air-cooled, single-cylinder fuel-injected engine which produces 7.38PS and 8.05Nm. The engine offers good refinement and Honda’s reliability, making the Shine 100 a good choice if you are looking for something simple and reliable. It offered a real-world tested mileage of 67.5kmpl, which is impressive considering the conditions were a mix of city and highway riding. What’s even more interesting is that since its launch way back in March 2023, its price has remained the same at Rs 64,900 (ex-showroom Delhi)!
TVS Radeon Price: 62,630
The TVS Radeon comes 3rd on our list, but what makes it stand out from the rest is the fact that it comes with a 110cc. The bike offers quite a peppy performance, with its 109.7cc air-cooled single-cylinder fuel-injected engine which produces 8.19PS and 8.7Nm.
Add in the stylish paint schemes, several chromed-out parts, along with a golden finish on the engine crankcase, the Radeon has a premium look overall. It also gets an Econometer, which comprises an Eco light and a Power light, either of which lights up depending on the riding style. In our real-world mileage test, the TVS Radeon offered a fantastic 73.68kmpl in the city and 68.6kmpl on the highway. The Radeon comes at an ex-showroom Delhi price of 62,630, for the base variant.
TVS Sport Price: Rs 59,881
The TVS Sport is the cheapest TVS bike in India. The bike is offered in 2 variants, the Self-Start ES and Self-Start ELS. The ES variant comes at Rs 59,881 (ex-showroom Delhi).
Like the Radeon, it also features a 110cc engine. The engine offers the same power and torque figures as the Radeon. But what makes the Sport stand out is that it comes with a very simple design and is offered in plain colours, to keep costs in check.
Surprisingly, the ELS variant of the Sport costs Rs 71,223 (ex-showroom Delhi) which is Rs 11,342 more expensive and the only difference is that the ELS variant comes with more stylish colour schemes. So by going for the affordable variant, you are not missing out on much.
Hero HF 100 Price: Rs 59,018
With an ex-showroom Delhi price of Rs 59,018, the Hero HF 100 is the cheapest bike in India. It is also the cheapest Hero bike in India. Powered by a 97.2cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine it produces 8PS and 8.05Nm.
The bike also has a few interesting safety features such as the engine cutting off in case the bike falls, and also a side-stand engine cut off. Additionally, Hero offers a 5-year warranty as standard, which should ensure complete peace of mind in the long run.
