These states offer you the maximum incentive in addition to the FAME II subsidy
While the sales of electric two-wheelers are on the rise, they continue to remain quite expensive when compared to their ICE powered counterparts. To make electric vehicles more accessible to the masses, the Indian government has rolled out various subsidies and incentives to both manufacturers and buyers.
Joining the Union government in this initiative are various state governments too, who further offer additional subsidies to offset the cost of an electric vehicle. Off late however, there have been states like Goa that have withdrawn subsidies, while Maharashtra is on the borderline on ending the EV subsidy. Thus, here’s a list of top eight states/UTs that are electric two-wheeler friendly.
Note: State subsidies vary every quarter, depending on its budget.

The central and state government subsidies are applicable on electric two-wheelers conforming to a lot of factors like minimum top speed, minimum acceleration, maximum electric energy consumption and ex-showroom price. Thus electric bikes like the Ultraviolette F77 are not eligible for incentives.

Also, these incentives have been rolled out mainly for early adopters of electric two-wheelers. Hence, these subsidies are bound to end after a certain time, or after a pre-defined number of electric two-wheelers are sold in the state.
In addition to the above list, there are states like Kerala, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka that offer exemption on road tax or registration.
