This bike doesn’t need an introduction; the Yamaha R15M is one of the most popular sports bikes in India. The R15M is a great entry-level bike for anyone looking to get into sports bikes. It has a sporty look, offers good power, and isn’t too intimidating for beginners. The bike has proper sportbike ergonomics – it gets clip-on handlebars and rear-set footpegs. However, it isn’t as uncomfortable for commuting, which is what mostly this bike will be used for. That said, it is a good learner bike for occasional track days. The bike is equipped with dual-channel ABS, a traction control system, a slip-and-assist clutch, variable valve actuation (VVA), and Bluetooth connectivity. Additionally, it is also fitted with a quickshifter, a digital TFT instrument console offering turn-by-turn navigation, music controls and an LED light for the rear number plate. That’s one loaded list of features for a 150cc bike.

On the highway, it is a breeze, however, you might need to downshift for quick overtakes. The bike has an upright seating position, coupled with a spacious seat to keep you comfortable during long rides. This is a highway-oriented ADV, and as such has a stiff suspension setup. It has 19-inch wheels which can straighten out some small road undulations. If you enjoy long, smooth rides at your own pace, the V-Strom's versatility and comfortable ergonomics make it perfect for touring on various roads.
