The upcoming bike, like to be called the Zeppelin, could to be powered by the same 225cc air-/oil-cooled engine as the Ronin, but with its own unique cruiser aesthetic

TVS has filed a new design patent for a cruiser motorcycle and the same has been leaked online. Could this new bike be the TVS Zeppelin?

TVS initially showcased the Zeppelin concept at the 2018 Auto Expo, and we were excited to see the first cruiser from the Indian manufacturer. However, the bike was never launched, and instead, TVS introduced the Ronin in 2022. Now with the new design patents, we have hope that Zeppelin might actually be launched here.

The TVS Ronin’s platform is great for cruisers; however, the Ronin motorcycle itself is a mashup of multiple genre of motorcycles. We believe that the upcoming cruiser could be based on Ronin’s platform and go one step further and address its confused riding posture. How? Well, from what can be understood from the design patent, the bike will get forward-set footpegs, a new exhaust setup (that extends out), and likely a lowered seat as well to fit the cruiser styling.

The upcoming bike is also likely to be powered by the same 225cc air-/oil-cooled engine seen on the Ronin, producing 20.4PS and 19.3 Nm. However, the engine might get a more relaxed state of tune.

In conclusion, as mentioned, the TVS Ronin's platform is ideal for a cruiser, and it will be thrilling to witness the new cruiser, likely to be named the Zeppelin, built upon this platform.
