TVS Motor Company has launched a new colour option for the Ronin, priced at Rs 1,72,700. This new variant is based on the top-of-the-line TVS Ronin TD Special Edition. Additionally, the starting price of the Ronin has been reduced to Rs 1,35,000 (ex-showroom).
What does the TVS Ronin Midnight Blue Colour Option Get?
The new TVS Ronin Midnight Blue colour option gets a metallic dark blue base colour complemented by a wide fluorescent green/yellow stripe accompanied by a white pinstripe on the fuel tank and side panels. The rear part of the fuel tank and the front half of the side panel also feature a metallic grey finish.
Based on the range-topping variant, the Ronin Midnight Blue comes with a tall smoked visor, a USB charging port, a throttle body cover and all black engine case, fenders and exhaust.
It now comes in 8 colour options: Magma Red, Lightning Black, Delta Blue, Stargaze Black, Galactic Grey, Dawn Orange, Nimbus Grey and Midnight Blue.

The TVS Ronin continues to be powered by a 225.9cc, air-/oil-cooled, single-cylinder, engine that makes 20.4PS and 19.93Nm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox with slip and assist clutch.
The TVS Ronin features an LCD instrument console with smartphone connectivity via Bluetooth. It includes call/SMS alerts, voice assistance, phone battery level and signal strength, and turn-by-turn navigation, among other features. The bike gets an all-LED lighting setup as standard. Other features include a silent starter, a side-stand engine cut-off feature, and a three-step adjustable brake/clutch lever. The Ronin also has the TVS Glide-Through-Traffic which helps the bike to crawl through traffic just using the clutch.
The Ronin SS and DS variants come with single-channel ABS. Whereas, the TD and TD – Special Edition variants have dual-channel ABS as standard. It also gets two ABS modes, Urban and Rain, to adjust ABS intervention.
The TVS Ronin competes against the other neo-retro bikes including the Kawasaki W175 and Royal Enfield Hunter 350.
