This particular price bracket will see a nice mix of a bobber, scrambler, ADV and a streetfighter arriving in 2024
Update: The Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 has been launched in India. You can read all about it in our launch story here.
With lots of new bikes entering the Indian market in 2024, let’s take a look at those that will priced between Rs 3,00,000 - Rs 5,00,000:
Royal Enfield Shotgun 650
The much-awaited Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 was finally unveiled in 2023 and judging from the images, the manufacturer has managed to make a good-looking bobber out of the Super Meteor 650’s platform. Although it shares a lot of parts with the 650cc cruiser, the Shotgun 650 does have distinguishable elements that make it stand on its own. It will be launched in January 2024 and is likely to get a price tag of Rs 3.5 lakh (ex-showroom).
Royal Enfield Scrambler 650
The Royal Enfield Scrambler 650 (could also be called the Royal Enfield Interceptor Bear 650) is another motorcycle in the pipeline from Royal Enfield for a 2024 launch. It has been spied many times so far and from those instances, we got to see that it gets a ribbed seat, raised handlebar, oval side panels and slightly upswept pea-shooter exhausts that make it look like a true-blue scrambler. It is expected to be launched in April 2024 and is likely to be priced around the Rs 3.5 lakh (ex-showroom) mark.
Husqvarna Svartpilen 401
The Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 is expected to be launched by mid-2024 with a price tag of Rs 3.3 lakh, ex-showroom. Based on the spy shots we have seen so far, the bike looks much bigger than the current version and gets a square TFT instrument console. It will be powered by the all-new KTM 390 Duke’s engine, which should make it all the more exciting to ride.
Next-gen KTM 390 Adventure & RC 390
Based on the all-new KTM 390 Duke, the next-gen KTM 390 Adventure will be powered by the same 398.63cc, single-cylinder engine. It will get a taller windscreen, sleeker and sharper tank extension and a single-piece contoured seat among other changes, based on the spy shots. It is expected to make its debut at EICMA show in Milan, Italy by the end of 2024 and when launched in India, will likely be priced around the Rs 3.80 lakh (ex-showroom) mark.
Also, if we are lucky, the next-gen RC 390 might be unveiled around the same time as well with a launch in 2025. You can read what’s new in the nextgen RC390 in our report here.
