Upcoming Hero Maestro Edge Spotted at Dealership, To Be Launched Soon

Hero MotoCorp showcased an amazing 110cc scooter- Dash, with some class-apart features at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo. Now the same exciting product it will launch soon with a new name- Maestro Edge. The scooter has been spotted at a Hero dealership and it has no change from the Auto Expo model, except the new name.

Like the name, the Hero Maestro Edge features a very edgy and sharp styling, which looks much futuristic. The scooter looks very sporty from the front with a handlebar mounted headlight and integrated turn indicators on the apron. The rear of the scooter gets beautifully designed LED tail lamp, which makes it looking attractive than any other offering in the market.

The scooter gets a well-crafted digital-analog instrument cluster and also features handlebar end weights. It also has bigger 12” front and 10” rear alloy wheels and the best-looking exhaust muffler, you have ever seen on an Indian scooter. It also has the most stylish external fuel filling lid with front key opening.

Powering the Hero Maestro Edge is an 110cc motor, which is expected to make around 8.4bhp of maximum power and deliver a peak torque of 9.4Nm. According to the model showcased at the Auto Expo, other innovative features of the scooter are Dual Moulding E-Code key, large under-seat storage with light and USB mobile charger, side stand indicator, service due indicator, telescopic front suspension and tubeless tyres.

Hero MotoCorp might price this scooter very competitive in the market and along with the 110cc scooters, it can also eat up from the sales of the pricier Honda Activa 125.
