Upcoming KTM 390 Adventure and 390 Enduro R: Specs and Lineup Leaked Online

The KTM 390 Adventure and the 390 Adventure X get the same rally-inspired design as the test bikes which were spied earlier, and the 390 Enduro R gets an enduro-inspired design

Recently, a few images have surfaced online revealing some very important details of the upcoming specs, lineup and colours of the upcoming KTM 390 Adventure and the KTM 390 Enduro R. 

The upcoming KTM 390 Adventure and 390 Enduro R range will get the same 398.63cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that delivers 46PS at 8,500rpm and 39Nm at 6,500rpm on the KTM 390 Duke However, on the upcoming bikes, it should have a different engine tune and sprocket sizes. Here’s what else these upcoming bikes will get:

Upcoming KTM 390 Adventure & 390 Adventure X

The upcoming KTM 390 Adventure and the 390 Adventure X features the same rally-inspired bodywork as the previously spied test bikes. They also feature a rally tower-like instrument console and vertically stacked projector headlights. 

The leaked specs of the upcoming KTM 390 Adventure suggest that the ADV will come with a TFT instrument console and will come with cornering ABS and traction control system. It has a white and orange paint scheme with an orange frame. The suspension will be preload-adjustable with a travel of 230mm. The 390 ADV will come with 21-inch front and 18-inch rear spoke wheels. It will have a tall seat height of 885mm.

The cheaper KTM 390 Adventure X will get the same styling and frame as the 390 ADV. It has an orange and black colour option with a black frame. It will get an LCD console, instead of a TFT, and will get switchable ABS (not cornering ABS), to keep the costs in check. The 390 Adventure X will also get a non-adjustable suspension with 200mm of travel. It will get smaller 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels and will have a lower seat height of 825mm.

Upcoming KTM 390 Enduro R

Specs of the upcoming KTM 390 Enduro R were also leaked. It has an enduro-like design, like the bikes that were spied earlier. It will get a long, flat seat, and features an orange and white colour scheme. 

The 390 Enduro R will get a long-travel suspension setup that includes an inverted front fork and a rear monoshock; exact suspension travel hasn't been revealed yet. It will get 21-inch front and 18-inch rear spoke wheels, just like the 390 Adventure.

KTM is also working on a 390 Enduro Supermoto version with 17-inch alloy wheels and shorter suspension along with 125cc Enduro bikes, but we don’t think that they will be launched in India anytime soon.

Expected Prices and Launch Date

The upcoming KTM 390 Adventure is expected to be priced at around the Rs 3.8 lakh mark. Whereas, the 390 Adventure X is likely to launch at around Rs 3.5 lakh mark. We expect the 390 Enduro to sit between the 390 Duke and the 390 Adventure X, which means that it could cost somewhere between Rs 3.2 lakh to 3.3 lakh (all prices ex-showroom).

The KTM 390 Adventure and 390 Enduro R range is expected to be showcased at the EICMA 2024 in Italy, and may be launched in India in 2025.
