The leading European motorcycle manufacturer KTM has released a video of its upcoming RC range of track machines in action. The company has already unveiled these bikes at EICMA 2013. As per the company's Indian website, RC 390 and RC 200 will be launched soon in India, while the RC 125 will be launched in European countries.
All the three bikes share similar platform and body work, while look different by their paint job. The RC 390 has been finished in White -Orange paint job, while RC 200 and RC 125 get Black-Orange scheme. Features of the bikes are also similar including twin projector head lamps, fully digital instrument console and LED tail lamps. However, it sports different capacity engines borrowed from their respective naked siblings.
In the video, KTM RC 390 is in action on a track. It shows that the rider is speeding the bike and doing perfect knee-downs on every turn, which shows that it is a real track machine. The 373.3cc, 4-valve, liquid-cooled, single cylinder engine of the bike churns out a maximum power of 43bhp, which takes just less than 6 seconds for 0-100kmph mark and takes it over 165kmph.
KTM RC 200 is speeding on a clean highway and taking sharp turns with extreme lean angles. One of the twin projector headlamps is on and the bike is looking very stable in every condition, high speeds or cornering. The bike uses a 199.5cc, 4-valve, liquid cooled, single cylinder engine, which delivers 25bhp of maximum power. The bike goes over 130kmph and capable to do 0-100kmph mark in less than 10 seconds.
A rider is maneuvering the RC 125 in city roads with both the twin head lamps on and easily handling the bike in the traffic, while accelerating it quickly on the clear road.
