The first week of April was full of excitement, from thrilling launches and spy shots to new info about upcoming releases and even price increases. If you happened to miss the action, here is the top news from last week:

Ather Rizta Launch

Ather Rizta Electric scooter launch

Ather Energy has finally launched the much-awaited Rizta electric scooter, starting at Rs 1,09,999. (ex-showroom Bengaluru including EMPS, which is for the Electric Mobility Promotion Scheme 2024). The Ather Rizta e-scooter comes in three variants: Rizta S (2.9kWh), Rizta Z (2.9kWh) and Rizta Z (3.7kWh)

Along with the electric scooter, Ather also launched the Halo smart helmet range with connectivity features. The Halo helmets have inbuilt speakers and a mic, prices start at Rs 4,999. Ather released the new AtherStack 6.0 software update with a refreshed interface, it includes segment-first features like integrated WhatsApp and a tyre pressure monitoring system.

KTM News

KTM 390 Adventure Spied testing

New spy shots of the 2025 KTM 390 Adventure have surfaced online again. This time the 390 ADV was spotted testing along with the off-road-oriented 390 Enduro, expected to be named the KTM 390 Adventure R. Both bikes feature a rugged and aggressive design, and are expected to come with more features and better off-road capability.

KTM India also launched the 2024 2024 250 Duke with a refreshed colour scheme. The new paint scheme features dual-tone black and blue colour with orange wheels and graphics. It looks similar to the ‘Atlantic Blue colour’ of the KTM 390 Duke.

TVS iQube Price Hike

TVS iQube Price Increased

TVS has increased the price of its electric scooter, the TVS iQube. However, it seems that TVS has also absorbed a bit of the price increase, resulting in only a nominal hike in the e-scooter's price. This change comes after the withdrawal of the FAME 2 subsidy and the beginning of the new financial year.

Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 Being Delivered with Apollo Tyred instead of Pirellis

The Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 was earlier launched with premium Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR dual-purpose tyres. However, the bike is now being delivered wrapped with Apollo Tramplr XR dual-purpose tyres instead. This is because of changes in government regulations and policies for importing tyres.

Bajaj News - Updated Pulsar N250 Incoming

Bajaj Pulsar N250 Launch Date Confirmed

Bajaj Auto has finally announced the launch date for the 2024 Bajaj Pulsar N250. Having been spotted testing multiple times before, we expect the bike to come with an inverted fork, the bike is also likely to get a new instrument console with smartphone connectivity and navigation. The bike will be launched on April 10, 2024.
