The year 2020 started on a positive note with most manufacturers transitioning to BS6-compliant two-wheelers. Some have already been launched while the rest are underway. There’s also the electric revolution that needs mentioning, which will soon take over the two-wheeler industry. Here are our top five picks from the week.

 

BS6 Yamaha MT-15 Power Figure Revealed:

Yamaha recently unveiled its BS6 lineup of bikes and scooters, which will be launched in February. Amongst the chaos was the MT-15 with a new paint scheme and an engine update. While figures were unknown, the bike was pegged to comply with BS6 emissions. Unfortunately, a leaked document has now revealed that the bike has lost some oomph in the process. BS6 Suzuki Access 125 Launched: 

Suzuki launched its first BS6-compliant scooter, the Access 125, in India this week. It features fuel-injection, an external fuel filling cap, and a new LED headlamp. The styling, on the other hand, remains unchanged. Head here for more information.

 

BS6 Royal Enfield Classic 350 Launched:

Iconic bike maker Royal Enfield also hopped onto the BS6 bandwagon with the Classic 350. Aside from the engine update, the bike features a couple of new colour options. The brand will soon follow this up with the Himalayan, for which dealerships have already started accepting unofficial bookings

Hero Trademarks Connect & Freedo Brand Names
