This week had it all, from new launches, offers rolled out on two-wheelers to upcoming motorcycles. In case you missed out, here’s a look at the top five news stories that made headlines this week.

BMW G 310 Twins Spotted Testing In India:

After being spotted testing overseas, the BMW G 310 R and G 310 GS have been spied doing their rounds in India. Both the bikes feature subtle design updates along with the obvious BS6 engine. Here’s what’s changed

Honda Livo Launched:

Honda has finally launched the BS6 Livo in India with two variants on offer: disc and drum. It positions itself between the barebones Honda CD 110 Dream BS6 and the disc variant of the Honda Shine BS6. The bike gets subtle design tweaks, a silent starter and engine kill switch for a premium of a little over Rs 10,000. Head here for more details.

Hero Xtreme 160R Launched

Hero finally steps into the performance-centric commuter segment with the Xtreme 160R. It comes with a stonking price tag that manages to undercut most of its 150-160cc rivals. The bike comes with some segment-first features like all-LED lighting, hazard lights and a side-stand engine cut off switch. Other notable features include a full-digital instrument console and integrated pillion grab handles. More details here.

BGauss Electric Scooters

BGauss steps into the electric fray with two new electric scooters, the A2 and B8. The former is available in two variants while the latter gets three. These scooters offer a range of 70-110km, depending on the variant and model. Expect all five models to be launched in the first week of August 2020. Click here for more details.

Ather exchange scheme 

Ather’s rolled out an exchange scheme offer which allows customers to trade in their Honda Activa for a brand spanking new Ather 450. The offer eliminates the process of having to go through a ton of paperwork. This exchange programme is in collaboration with CredR. More details here.
