It was another grim week for the country as it’s struggling to contain the spread of COVID-19. Hence, the two-wheeler action wasn’t all that enticing. Nevertheless, here are five important news stories from the week gone by.

Aprilia SXR125 Launched

Aprilia has finally gotten around to launch its smaller maxi-styled scooter, the SXR125. While it is obviously more affordable than the larger SXR160, it still arrives at quite the premium over segment rivals.

Yamaha XSR125 Unveiled In Europe

The Yamaha XSR125 is the latest and the smallest member in Yamaha’s neo-retro motorcycle series. It looks out-and-out funky and does have some exciting bits about it.

Husqvarna Vektorr e-Scooter Concept Showcased

The first set of images of Husqvarna’s Bajaj Chetak-based electric scooter were shared. The electric scooter concept looks thoroughly modern and stylish, carrying the typical Swedish design influence.

New Development On The KTM 490s

KTM has been working on a new sub-500cc parallel-twin engine platform for a while. New development on the project suggests that we might get to see the first set of bikes from this series next year. Not only will the motor be used on KTM machines but Husqvarna will also put the same 500cc twin into their Svartpilen and Vitpilen bike formats.

Ducati Streetfighter V4 Lands Up In India

Ducati’s stunning sportbike-humbling Panigale-derived Streetfighter V4 has been launched in the country. Its asking price starts from Rs 19.99 lakh (ex-showroom India), which makes it a tempting proposition for a litre-class naked.
