Launches, scoop on upcoming products, exclusive bits, this week was an exhilarating one!
This week was an exciting one! We spotted bikes, saw launches and brought to you some exclusive pieces. So here’s a hand-picked list of five of the most important happenings of the week:
Ultraviolette F77 Launch Timeline Announced!
Ultraviolette Automotive has finally announced the launch date of its much-anticipated e-bike, the F77. India’s most powerful electric bike is all set to be here in about a month.
India Launches
Italian manufacturer Moto Morini finally revealed the prices of its 600cc motorcycles’ range in India. While the bikes carry a premium price, they back it up with premium hardware underneath.
Keeway followed Moto Morini, by launching its seventh product for India, the SR125, a 125cc retro motorcycle. Even though it’s a 125cc bike, the pricing will raise your eyebrows.
Ola News
Ola Electric pleasantly surprised us by announcing its intention to launch an even more affordable scooter based on the S1 on October 22. It’s expected to be priced under Rs 80,000, making it a feature-loaded and eco-friendly rival to the Honda Activa 6G. The string of good news didn’t stop from the Bangalore-based EV maker, as it’s gearing up to launch the MoveOS 3.0 OTA (over-the-air) update this Diwali.
However, the brand’s smooth sailing was marred by yet another quality-related incident. It was a case of yet another Ola S1’s front suspension breaking down. Here’s what happened.
Hero News
The Hero Vida V1 was hands down one of the most anticipated launches in recent times. We finally got a chance to ride it and here’s everything we liked and disliked about it. The bookings for Hero’s first electric scooter are now also open. The Vida V1 has now become the first electric scooter to adopt the Ather 450X’s charging port. Here’s everything you need to know about it. The company, in fact, even has an online configurator to let you customise the scooter as per your requirement. Check it out here.
If the configurator has impressed you, check out the e-scooter’s detailed price break up here.
In related news, a test mule of the Hero Xtreme 160R was spied testing. Now, Hero did update the Xtreme 160R recently, so what is this one all about? Here’s our analysis.
Royal Enfield News
Nowadays weeks feel incomplete if there aren’t any Royal Enfield bikes that are spotted testing. This week was definitely interesting, for we spotted the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650, once again. Here’s everything you need to know about it.
A test mule of the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 was also spied with not only a half fairing but also remotely-adjustable shock absorbers.
