Hi folks! Hope you all are enjoying the ongoing festive season. Firstly, let’s pay homage to the founder and Chairman of the largest two-wheeler company - Mr. Brijmohan Lall Munjal. Aged 92, the man passed away on last Sunday and his contribution to the Indian auto industry can never be forgotten. Moving on, Kawasaki launched the 30th Anniversary special edition of its popular quarter-litre sportbike - Ninja 300 in India at Rs. 3.61 lac. Hero MotoCorp recently discontinued its 150cc performance motorcycle - Xtreme, might be due to poor sales. Piaggio opens its exclusive Motoplex store in the country in which the buyers can get all three brands - Aprilia, Moto Guzzi and Vespa under one roof. Last but not the least, we interviewed Mr. Rana Partap, who is the Scooter category winner of 17th Raid De Himalaya.

‘Hero’ of Biggest Two-wheeler Manufacturer Passed Away

Brijmohan Lall Munjal, the architect behind the Hero MotoCorp group passed away on Sunday, at the age of 92. The cremation ceremony is to take place today afternoon. He was born in 1923 at Kamalia which is presently a part of Pakistan. After the Indo-Pak division, Brijmohan Lall Munjal along with his three brothers started a small shop of bicycle parts in Ludhiana in 1940s which later became Hero Group, a two-wheeler manufacturer of the country, in 1956. There was no turning back after that, Hero MotoCorp is presently one of the largest two-wheeler companies of the world since 14 years. Hero Motocorp Xtreme Discontinued

Country’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer, Hero Motocorp has discontinued its Xtreme motorbike from the market. The company has taken this decision due to the popularity of Xtreme Sports. The dealers have stopped taking bookings for Xtreme as the Xtreme Sports is performing quite well in the market. Hero Motocorp Xtreme is priced at Rs. 75,025 (ex-showroom), whereas the price of Xtreme Sports is Rs 75,725 (ex-showroom New Delhi), offering better features and more value by just paying Rs 700 extra. Due to the same reason, the Indian consumers went for Xtreme Sports, which reduced the sales of former drastically. Read More

United Motorcycles to bring Two Cruisers in January 2016

Finally, the wait is over!! United Motorcycles will reveal two new cruiser bikes to the media very soon. The cruiser machines will be previewed in January 2016, ahead of its official launch at the Indian Auto Expo, next year. The upcoming bikes will be based on the Renegade Commando platform. One trim will be called as Renegade Commando Classic while the other one will be known as Renegade Sport. Company will only be showcasing these two bikes to the media and will not offer any test ride before its official launch. Kawasaki Releases Official Video for its 2016 Ninja ZX-10R

The restyled Kawasaki ZX-10R that was recently showcased at 44th Tokyo Motor Show has been teased in an official video by the company on YouTube. During the designing process, heavy Inputs have been taken from the WSBK racing team along with a lot of other technical upgrades.
