Another weekend, which eventually means another weekly dose of two-wheeler news for you. The week was good for the supersport bikes fans from all over the world as Yamaha and Kawasaki officially unveiled their new litre-class punchy weapons christened as the Yamaha YZF-R1S and 2016 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R. Besides, a new Ducati Hypermotard was also found on the emission certificates that further confirms its near arrival. Honda unveiled its lightweight supersport concept at the Tokyo Motor Show. In India, a new Bajaj Avenger Street was spotted at a dealership, which looked inspired from the Harley Davidson Street 750. Besides this, a TVS Apache RTR 160 was snapped at a dealership in matte blue paint and could be launched around the coming festive season. Another good news for the Indian auto nerds is that Mahindra Mojo has finally arrived at the dealerships and its launch will take place somewhere around the coming Dussehra.

New documents sent for certification to the California Air Resources Board(CARB) have revealed that Italian manufacturer Ducati will introduce a new 937cc engine to its Hypermotard line. This new engine will replace the previous 821cc engine. The document has also revealed that this new engine will be used in three 2016 models: the Hypermotard 939, Hypermotard 939 SP and the touring-oriented Hyperstrada 939. The three new models will join the soon to be released 959 Panigale as a part of the nine new 2016 models. But the wait continues for the other five models Ducati plan to launch, including two which they say will enter brand new segments for the brand. Read More
