Its another weekend and we are here again with our Weekly Wrap-up of the latest two-wheeler news. Two hot and sizzling launches made the top headlines of this week, which are none other than Piaggio Vespa SXL and VXL scooters and Triumph Tiger XCA. Piaggio Launches Vespa SXL and VXL, Starting at Rs. 77,038
As we reported earlier that Piaggio Retro style scooter Vespa is launching two of its variants SXL and VXL in India. The wait is now over as the company has launched them in a spectacular event in Mumbai. The famous football player Alessandro Del Piero and the company’s brand ambassador has unveiled these retro styled scooters at Palladium Hotel, Lower Parrel, Mumbai. Triumph Tiger XCA Launched in India at Rs. 13.75 lacs
Triumph Motorcycles India today launched a new variant of Tiger 800 called the Tiger 800 XCA. The price is 13.75 Lakhs Ex-showroom Delhi. The motorcycle will be available through all Triumph dealerships in the country. With this, Triumph now has four Tiger 800 adventure motorcycles in their Indian product lineup including Tiger 800 XCx, Tiger 800 Xr and Tiger 800 XRx. Read More
MV Agusta Imports 10 units of Brutale 1090 to India
Previously, we confirmed that MV Agusta will be coming to India in collaboration with Kinetic Group in November 2015. Recently, the Italian manufacturer has imported 10 units of Brutale 1090 to India hinting towards their launch in coming months. The company will have a wide range of offerings from 800cc to 1078cc engines and are expected to be priced between Rs. 12 lac to Rs. 32 lac. Kinetic Group will be setting up dealerships along with the service centres in the main parts of the country. Read More

2016 Yamaha MT-03 Revealed
After the launch of the Yamaha R3 in India recently, Yamaha have also officially taken the wraps off and confirmed the existence of the MT-03. The MT-03 is the bigger-capacity version of the M-T25 which may also be revealed soon. The MT-03 is a naked version of the YZF-R3 and the official pictures and details of the latest addition to the MT range have been released by Yamaha in Japan. Read More
Hyosung to Bring a New Cruiser to India
Since they were showcased at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo, many Indian enthusiasts have been eagerly waiting for the Hyosung GD250N and GD250R. However, DSK is not bringing these machines to our market any soon. During a conversation, Mr. Shirish Kulkarni, Chairman, DSK Motowheel told us that they are not launching any of the GD250 motorcycles in India this year. Hero MotoCorp Bringing R&D Department Back to India
Hero MotoCorp is bringing back the product development for all its models back to India after its split with Erik Buell Racing (EBR) who was handling its production in US. After the end of collaboration of Hero MotoCorp and Honda, Hero MotoCorp joined hands with EBR for strengthening its R&D department. In April 2015, EBR announced bankruptcy resulting in delay of several company plans. There was a big question mark on what the company will do for their jointly-developed products like its 250cc motorcycle, the HX250R, which has been already seen running on the Indian roads. Read More
