The week was happening and it witnessed many significant developments in the two-wheeler industry, worldwide. Benelli remained in the top news as it launched the “Golden” Limited edition version of its middleweight sports tourer - Benelli TNT 600i. Moving forward, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways in India recently announced that ABS/CBS will be compulsory for two-wheelers with engine capacity of 125cc or more from April 2018, in order to reduce the number of accidents. The Hosur-based manufacturer, TVS launched an improved variant of its popular 100cc commuter - TVS Sport with a better fuel economy. Besides all this, Ducati also made an impressive move with the unveiling of 2016 Carbon edition of its robust street bike - Diavel that will be made available to public from next month. 

The good news for the Indian auto fans is that three new product launches will be taking place in near future. The announcements in this regards was made by the manufacturers this week. Hero informed that they will be bringing two scooters Maestro Edge and Duet on September 29 while the tough street fighter from Mahindra - Mojo will reach the Indian shores on 16th of next month.

Benelli TNT 600i Limited Edition Launched at Rs. 5.58 lac

After the launch of DSK Benelli TNT 600i naked sport motorcycle in India, the Italian manufacturer launched its Limited Edition (LE) variant today in Pune at a price tag of Rs. 5.58 lac (ex-showroom, New Delhi). The motorcycle will be available for purchase from October 3, 2015 in all DSK Benelli dealerships across the country. There will be a total of 60 LE bikes available that will be sold on first come first serve basis. Read More

2016 Ducati Diavel Carbon Revealed; Video and Gallery Inside

Ducati has finally revealed its 2016 Diavel Carbon in Bolgona, Italy. The bike will be available for the public from October 2015. It is going to be much more aggressive and refined, thanks to its all new graphics and technical advancements. Mahindra Mojo to be Launched on 16 October

After a long row of rumours and speculations, the long awaited Mahindra Mojo is all set to be launched in India on October 16, 2015. The dealerships have been taking bookings for the motorcycle since the start of September against a token amount of Rs. 10,000. Mahindra Two Wheelers sent out an email to the customers who had booked or enquired about the motorcycle. The email included a form asking them about their details so as to make sure the enquiries were from genuinely interested customers. Read More

Ola planning to launch Motorcycle-Taxi Soon

To spread its commuter transport web in the country, Ola is preparing to launch bike taxi services soon. As reported by the sources, Ola will launch the bike taxi service once it clears the regularities formed by government. The bike taxi service by the company will follow the footsteps of GoJek, Blue-Jek and Grabbike of Indonesia, according to a report by Economic Times. ‘Its an interesting move’ but Ola has to deal with the rules and regulations and if it passes the system than dealing in bike taxis is a good business and have a lot of potential, said Karthik Hosnagar, Professor of technology at The Wharton School.
