Honda CBR650F to be Launched on 4th August
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt Ltd (HMSI) is going to launch a mid-weight supersport motorcycle- CBR650F on the 4th August 2015. It is powered by a very advanced 650cc, liquid-cooled, inline 4-cylinder engine, which makes up to 87bhp of power. The bike is expected to be priced around Rs. 8 lacs and it will be launched in a very special event, christened as Honda Revfest, which will be organised in 8 different cities across the country. Yamaha YZF-R3 To be Launched on 11th August
Another Japanese auto major- Yamaha is finally ready to launch the awaited YZF-R3 in India on 11th August. The entry-level-performance motorcycle is powered by a 321cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin motor, churning out 41.4bhp of maximum power. Expected to be priced around Rs. 3 lacs, the bike will compete with the existing Kawasaki Ninja 300 and KTM RC 390. Read More
Triumph Tiger XR Launched in India
Triumph Motorcycles launched the new Tiger XR in India at a price of Rs. 10.5 lacs (ex-showroom, Delhi). It is the most affordable motorcycle in Tiger adventure motorcycle range and sports the same 800cc, liquid-cooled, inline-triple engine, which powers the other Tiger 800 variants. Standard features of the bike include traction control, ride-by-wire technology, Trip Computer, 12V power socket, adjustable brake/clutch levers, etc. Read More
Limited Edition KTM Duke Body Kits Launched
Yuvraj Singh, the famous cricketer, announced the auction of his customized KTM 390 Duke- YouWeCan X-12 motorcycle. Customized by Pune-based company- Autologue, the bike was showcased at the India Bike Week this year and it has some performance enhancing equipment as well. On this occasion, the company also launched 2 limited edition custom kits for the 200 and 390 Duke, named as X-26 and X-12. Read More
Hero MotoCorp Acquired Erik Buell Racing (EBR)
The world’s largest and leading Indian two-wheeler manufacturer- Hero MotoCorp Ltd (HMCL) signed an agreement with EBR in order to acquire its tangible and intangible assets. HMCL NA, Inc. and HMCL Americas, Inc. (both wholly owned subsidiaries of Hero MotoCorp Ltd.) have entered into a “Settlement Agreement” with the “Receiver” appointed by the Circuit Court, Wisconsin, U.S.A. in the matter of Chapter 128 Receivership filed by the Erik Buell Racing, Inc. and Erik Buell LLC (“EBR”). The popular four-wheeler manufacturer- Volkswagen introduced a unique electric, three-wheeled scooter- Last Mile Surfer. Upcoming 125cc Honda Motorcycle Spotted Testing without Camouflage
A new 125cc Honda motorcycle has been spotted testing without any camouflage. It was sporting the same HET engine, which powers the existing Honda CB Shine.
