It's been an exciting week for two-wheeler enthusiasts with manufacturers rolling out a couple of new bikes and Harley-Davidson announcing its Street for Softail exchange offer. And that's not all, so just in case you missed out, here's all the important news that transpired in the past week.

Exclusive: Royal Enfield set to launch ABS-equipped Classic 350 variant

The bike which is due for launch on 28 August is essentially a Classic 350 with better brakes and a new paint scheme. It will be the first ever Royal Enfield bike to sport dual-channel ABS. For more spicy details on the bike, click here.

TVS Radeon launched at Rs 48,400

TVS’s newest offering, the Radeon, will target customers from Tier I and Tier II cities. The design of the bike is quite similar to the Hero Splendor Plus but pack a lot more features in comparison. For more details and the launch story, click here.

Locally made Kawasaki ZX-10RR price hiked

Quite recently, Kawasaki had announced that it will produce its litre-class sports bikes locally. This resulted in a price drop and an introductory price of Rs 12.80 lakh and Rs 16.1 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) for the Ninja ZX-10R and the Ninja ZX-10RR respectively. Limited units of the bike were produced and all of them were sold out within 15 days of launch. Now, however, the firm has bumped up the price of the ZX-10RR to Rs 16.98 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Upcoming Hero Destini 125 spied

Going by the spy shots, it’s now confirmed that the Hero Duet has been re-christened the Hero Destini 125 and is expected to be launched next month. The scooter has been developed from the ground up by Hero and is made with the intent to tap into the growing 125cc scooter segment. For more details on the scooter, click here.

Exchange Harley-Davidson Street for Softail

As per the offer, the Milwaukee-based leisure motorcycle manufacturer will provide 100 per cent buyback on the Street 750 or Street Rod if it is less than 12 months old, and 75 per cent on bikes up to 2 years old. Ducati Scrambler 1100 India launch on 27 August

The Ducati Scrambler 1100 gets a much bigger engine and better electronic rider aids compared to its younger sibling. A couple of dealerships have already started accepting bookings for the bike before its launch for a token amount of Rs 1 lakh-2 lakh. Yamaha discontinues YZF-R15 V2.0

The Japanese manufacturer pulled the plug on the of the YZF-R15 V2.0 and is expected to do so on the YZF-R15S pretty soon. Both the bikes have been selling alongside the R15 V3.0, but now that the sales of the newest version are going strong the firm doesn’t require the older generations to be on sale anymore. TVS announces service camps for flood affected customers across Kerala

TVS has rolled out service camps for both two-wheelers and three-wheelers that have been affected in flood-stricken Kerala. The service camp which is available at all TVS Motor dealerships and authorised service centres across the state will commence from 27 August and end on 3 September 2018.
