In a bid to strengthen its market share, Mahindra Two Wheelers Limited is all set to try their hands in 300cc motorcycle segment with Mahindra Mojo. Earlier we had reported that the company will launch this highly awaited bike in the month of October. Recently, we have come across a rumour that the Indian Automaker is thinking to bring it on a road on 13th of October.

First showcased in Auto Expo 2014, this machine has been spied testing many times. According to sources, the company has put in a lot of efforts in making this bike perfect for all the terrains. Few days back a bike enthusiast Sarath Shenoy took a rough road test of Mahindra Mojo under uneven conditions. According to him, “While riding on the roads which were unexplored, Mojo impressed me with its performance and the suspension was quite appreciable in the challenging conditions.”
The Booking for Mahindra Mojo has already been started and you can book this naked streetfighter with an initial amount of Rs 10,000. It is equipped with 295cc single cylinder engine that produces the power of 27bhp at 8000rpm and maximum torque of 30Nm at 6000rpm. The bike is mated to 6-speed transmission and can reach the top speed of 150-160 kmph. To help it sail smoothly on all types of terrains the company has offered it 175mm of ground clearance. We can expect this bike to cost somewhere around Rs 1.5 lakhs.

With this launch, Mahindra is expecting to increase its share in the two wheeler market. The company is trying really hard to allure the customers but we need to wait & watch to find out whether this new offering is going to be a value for money or not.
