Hero has teased its latest new scooter on its social media account.
Hero Motocorp has teased a ‘save the date’ on its social media – for March 6 – that something “super” is on its way. And since the social media post features Bollywood actor Alia Bhatt, we’re sure the new offering is essentially an update to the Pleasure Plus scooter. But what exactly? Read on to find out…

Hero’s latest offering, the Xoom 110 bucked the trend of offering performance-focused scooters in the 125cc class, and we believe Hero will repeat the feat with the Pleasure as well. That said, we doubt there will be any performance updates on the updated Pleasure Plus. The major changes, then, would be under the skin, such as larger 12-inch wheels, and a redesigned instrument cluster (similar to that on the Xoom 110) with some more features added to the smartphone connectivity suite. All these, along with the existing tech such as i3S, will make the new Pleasure Plus an even more well-rounded product.

Moreover, the updated Hero Pleasure Plus will be the first Hero offering with OBD2 as well as E20 (ethanol-mixed fuel) compliance. And of course, all these changes will come with a slight price hike, though knowing Hero, the bump would be relatively modest. Hence, we estimate the updated Pleasure Plus to retail between Rs 70,000 and Rs 80,000, ex-showroom Delhi, which is a roughly Rs 2000 hike, across variants.
