Yamaha conducting 2015 National Technician Grand Prix

Yamaha Motor India Sales Pvt. Ltd. is organizing the sixth edition of National Technician Grand Prix 2015. In this competition, 1300 candidates took part, out of which 20 candidates are shortlisted. These shortlisted candidates will go on to compete for No.1 Yamaha Technician in the country in 2015. Furthermore, the winner of this competition will go on to represent Yamaha Motor India Sales at World Technician Grand Prix in 2016 in Japan.
This is the distinctive initiative taken by the Japanese manufacturer to increase the technical expertise and enhance the role of customer service engagement in the country.

The contest went through various rounds. From the regional round, 100 winners were picked up from 4 zones and from the zonal round, total 20 winners were selected. These 20 winners went on to take part in the final round which will be held at Greater Noida. The participants were evaluated on the basis of timely, proper and efficient service representing the brand image.
In this contest, the skill level of the contestants is tested in Theory, Troubleshooting, Repair & Final Inspection, Engine Noise and Wiring test along with customer dealing skills. Points will be given to the participants and the winner will be selected on behalf of these points earned.
Earlier in 2010, Yamaha Motors first held National Technician Grand Prix. Since then, the company has been conducting this competition and the number of participants has increased up to 1,385 from 350.
